When trying to connect to the FDM application using the Web Client, the end user is receiving a "Service Unavailable" error screen.
Currently within Internet Information Services the HyperionFDMAppPool is in a stopped state. When attempting to start the application pool the following message is returned in the windows event log:
This could be tested by applying these steps:
a) Logon to the FDM Web Server.
b) Launch Internet Information Services within the Administrative Tools => (Choose Start > Administrative Tools > Internet Information Services.)
c) Expand the Server.
d) Expand the Application Pools folder.
e) Right-Click on the HyperionFDMAppPool service and check if it is running. If it is NOT running press "Start".
Then, the HyperionFDMAppPool service could not be started and from the event viewer, could see this error:
