Goal

This document describes the JDBC string to use when configuring EPM with Oracle RAC database. The example uses Oracle database version 10G but the EPM documentation says the following:
in the section Supported Relational Data Repositories for all supported versions of Oracle includes support for Real Application Cluster (RAC) and ASM.
 
Consult the documentation for the product that you are installing for the specifics for that version. The procedure was tested in Hyperion Shared services 11.1.1.2 with Oracle Database RAC 10G (10.2.0.4). Similar configuration also works for HSS 9.3.3.
