Importing a 9.3.3.0.00 Planning form to Smart View upon refresh can cause shifting of cells (Doc ID 1300508.1)

Last updated on JULY 28, 2016

Applies to:

Hyperion Planning - Version: 9.2.0.0.00 to 9.3.3.0.00 - Release: 9.2 to 9.3
Information in this document applies to any platform.
All imported Planning Forms to Smart View may have cell shifting occur which invalidates the data in the Form.

Symptoms

Upon refreshing imported Smart View Forms when multiple tabs are in workbook, columns are
shifted to right, invalidating report. When only 1 active tab, upon refreshing, rows are shifted down. The clients are XP, Office 2010, IE 8, and W2K3 SP2 on server side.

Changes

Upgrade to 9.3.3.0.00 seems to have caused the issue to occur.

The original workbook is saved with the "None" Alias able, which has the content of "None"
alias table but the connection is created with the "Default" alias able.
