Hyperion Planning Deploy to Application Server Fails with Error: 'Failed' (Doc ID 1302700.1)

When using the Hyperion EPM System Configurator to deploy Planning to the application server, the task fails with the following error:

Deploy Application server - failed(X).

The configtool.log has the following details:

(Feb 18, 2011, 02:41:58 PM), com.hyperion.cis.config.AppServerDeployer, DEBUG, Error:
/local/apps/Hyperion/common/config/9.5.0.0/resources/websphere/wsphere-build.xml:343: Error while expanding /local/apps/Hyperion/products/Planning/AppServer/InstallableApps/Common/HyperionPlanning.ear
at org.apache.tools.ant.taskdefs.Expand.expandFile(Expand.java:147)

Caused by: java.io.IOException: No space left on device
