Symptoms

When adding a new APS Server to an existing Essbase/ EAS Setup, error in EAS Console:

Error: Cannot connect to the associated Essbase Server "xxx" See the message panel for details. Would you like to change the Essbase Server?

Logs in which more information can be found include:

HyS9aps-sysout.log:

Essbase.log

appserver.log:

Note the space at the end of the "8000 " in above error message - this is important!





Changes

Changes to the essbase.properties may cause this issue.
