OBIEE 11g: Error: "Invalid user name/password" after Configuring Weblogic LDAP and Microsoft Active Directory (MSAD / ADSI) Users

You have installed OBIEE 11g. You have followed the steps in <note 1273961.1> - OBIEE 11g: How to setup ADSI LDAP security provider - to configure ADSI. Now wherener you try to log into OBIEE as the weblogic user or your AD user, you get the following error:

invalid user/password

However, the weblogic user can successfully log on to WebLogic Server console and Enterprise Manager.
