Last updated on FEBRUARY 03, 2019

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

You have a real-time Validation applied to a hierarchy. If you try to assign a value to a property that contravenes the business rule expressed in the Validation, the Validation prevents your saving that value. However, from then on you cannot assign any value to the property because you get an error when saving property changes:

Error saving Properties
The server returned an error processing UpdateLocalProp:
Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint
'PK_RmNodePropLocal'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.RM_Node_Prop_Local'. The statement has been terminated.
