ScheduleBatch Command Fails When Run From Financial Reporting Studio 9.3.3 Client Environment (Doc ID 1315802.1)

Symptoms

An external batch file has been created for command-line scheduling.  When running the ScheduleBatch command on a machine with the Financial Reporting (FR) Studio installed (but no Financial Reporting services), the batch fails.

The FRScheduleBatch.log reads:

ERROR ExecuteBatch An error occurred executing the batch: C:\BatchName.XML
ERROR ExecuteBatch RemoteException occurred in server thread; nested exception is:
com.hyperion.reporting.util.HyperionReportException: Invalid Username or Password. Access Denied.
The same procedure completes successfully when run on the Financial Reporting Scheduler Server machine.

Changes

The problem did not occur in version 9.3.1, and the system was upgraded from 9.3.1 to 9.3.3.
