Symptoms

When user logs into a Hyperion Planning application the following error message is displayed:

An error occurred while processing this page. Check the log for details. Please close the current tab and open application again. An error occurred while processing this page. Check the log for details.

In the Planning sys log (catalina.out) the following error message is recorded:

query failed: SQL_GET_SYSTEMCFG: null
java.sql.sqlexception: [hyperion][oracle jdbc driver][oracle] ORA-00942

Changes

Data source configuration was recently changed.
