Symptoms
When trying to edit a form, user received the following error: "Unable To Obtain A Connection To Hyperion Essbase. If This Problem Persists, Please Contact Your Administrator."
When performing a Refresh Security Filters from Planning to Essbase, the following error is received: "unable to connect to Hyperion Essbase. Verify that Hyperion Essbase is running and check your network connections."
When trying to open any form, the following error is received: "A substitution variable required for this calculation is undefined. Variable: VarName"
The Essbase.log reports the following error: "Authentication Fails against the Shared Services Server with Error [60:1052:Password of UserName has expired.]"
