Migration Utility: "PropertyDefinitions Were Skipped Because They Were System, Restricted, or Well-Known Object." (Doc ID 1327226.1)

Last updated on JULY 28, 2016

Applies to:

Hyperion Data Relationship Management - Version: 11.1.2.0.00 and later   [Release: 11.1 and later ]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

When loading Property Definitions to DRM using the Migration Utility, you encounter the message:

"PropertyDefinitions were skipped because they were system, restricted, or well-known object"

The error log contains:
Warning,"PropertyDefinition [CORE.DEFAULTDISPLAYBY] was skipped because it is a system, restricted, or well-known object."

A similar message may occur for other system properties such as [Core.IDLengthLeafProp] and [Core.IDLengthLimbProp].

This occurs when your Migration Utility export file was generated in an earlier (pre-11.1.2) version of DRM.
