Enterprise Performance Management Foundation Services Fail to Start When Configured to Use SQLServer Windows Authentication (Doc ID 1328225.1)

Symptoms

During the initial configuration of the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Foundation (Shared Services) the Windows Authentication to access SQLServer Database is chosen.

After configuration, the Hyperion Foundation Services is attempted to be started via the Windows Services Console.

The Foundation Managed Server does not start.  The EPM Workspace page and Shared Services login page cannot be accessed.

When the FoundationServices0.log is viewed, the following error may occur:

"java.sql.SQLException: [HOST][SQLServer JDBC Driver][SQLServer]Login failed for user ''. The user is not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection".
