Goal

OBIEE 11g Windows 64-bit: Can I Use 32bit Odbc Drivers Instead of the 64bit Odbc Drivers.

In the Administration Tool, when you go to File-Import and select ODBC as source, it only displays the ODBC entries created in ODBC 64-bit drives. Is it possible to modify so Administration Tool also displays the entries for the 32-bit ODBC driver?.

In Windows 64-bit platform, there are two 'DataSources(ODBC)':

- One in Control Panel. This contains all the 64-bit Drivers. The ODBC Data Source Administrator located at
%WINDIR%\system32\odbcad32.exe.

- The other, the 32-bit Odbc drivers, located in the System Folders
%WINDIR%\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe

It uses the 64-bit version of ODBC Data Source Administrator located at %windir%\system32\odbcad32.exe.
