From Smart View client in Excel, when connecting to Shared Connections, all data sources (such as Planning, Essbase, etc...) are displayed apart from the HFM provider. Users are unable to connect to HFM via Shared connections, although they can create and successfully connect to HFM provider through Private Connections.
