This guide describes techniques for monitoring and optimizing the performance of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)11g components. 

This guide is intended as a post-install performance reference and is not intended to help you plan your OBIEE installation.

One of the most challenging aspects of performance tuning is knowing where to begin.
This guide is intended as a performance resource and reference for OBIEE 11g Administrators and provides tips on monitoring, analyzing and tuning the Fusion Middleware/OBIEE 11g components.

This  document  is  written  for  people  who  monitor  performance  and  tune  the components  in  a  BI  environment.  It  is  assumed  that  readers  know  server administration, Oracle® Fusion Middleware (FMW), hardware performance tuning fundamentals, web servers, java application servers and database.
