Data Relationship Managment Error: "Node does not exist in hierarchy, cannot be updated" is Seen When Running DRM Batch Client and the Node Name Appears Incorrectly (Doc ID 1333279.1)

Symptoms

When running a drm-batch-client.exe script to update existing nodes, an error like the following is seen:

WARNING: Script action x from batch y returned Failure: Node does not exist in hierarchy, cannot be updated. Hierarchy / Node: HierarchyName / Node


Where you see the � in the node name, a non-ASCII character can be seen when the hierarchy is viewed in the DRM web client GUI.
