Symptoms

If the ActiveDiretoryAuthenticator shipped with WebLogic Server is used for accessing Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (AD LDS) for authentication with Weblogic Server, an authentication error for a valid user similar to the following can be observed in the log files with the SecurityATN debug flag enabled:
