Invalid username/password when connecting in APPS mode with password containing special character (Doc ID 1349117.1)

Symptoms


Connecting to Discoverer  as an Oracle Applications user having a password which contains a special character (like '/' ) fails with error message:

 'Invalid username/password'

Changes

Change the user password or FND password to a password containing a special character ( like '/' )
