Date "DD/MM/YYYY" in Dashboard Prompt Returning Format "DD/MM/YYYY HH:MI:SS" (Doc ID 1356649.1)

Symptoms

Created a date prompt and associated it with Calender Object. When the prompt is used in a report, it can filter data successfully and see the same in the report. However the format of filter value changes to "DD/MM/YYYY HH:MI:SS from "DD/MM/YYYY" upon clicking the 'Go' button .

For example: Original format  is like 1/9/2011, After Press the "Go" Button, It Changes to 1/9/2011 00:00:00.
