OBIA: Problems Related to Group Account Number in Implementing on EBS Financials R12 Source (Doc ID 1363433.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 19, 2019

Applies to:

Business Intelligence Applications Consumer - Version 7.9.6.3 [AN 1900] and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

You are implementing OBIA on the EBS Financials R12 source and are using "Oracle Business Intelligence Applications Configuration Guide for Informatica PowerCenter Users Release 7.9.6.3" document for your help. The following question arises:

Group Account Numbers(Sec 3.2.1.4 of Document): You have received a list of account number and accounts associated with them from the client. You are also refering to 'Oracle Business Analytics Warehouse Data Model Reference Document (Version 7.9.6.3)'' for the list of defined group account numbers. The problem is that there are some accounts defined with our Client (like short term and long term investments) which are not defined in the Model Reference document.

How do you define these in the three csv files, i.e. file_group_acct_names.csv, file_group_acct_codes_ora.csv and file_grpact_fstmt.csv ?
