Symptoms

When using Excel SmartView 11.1.2.1 you are unable to connect to Reporting and Analysis URL https://bigip.example.com/raframework/browse/listxml
The following error message is display in a SmartView popup dialog box after attempting to login:

Connection to Shared Services provider Failed
Error message: ‘you must supply a valid username and Password to log onto the System.’

When using the non-SSL URL the product works as expected.
