MSAD Users are Unable to Login to Planning and Shared Services 11.1.x (Doc ID 1367897.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to connect to Planning via Workspace or connect to Shared Services the screen hangs while authenticating users or searching for users in Shared services.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to Shared services using Admin account and search for Users -  this causes the screen to hang.
2. Login to Workspace and this causes the screen to hang, as well.
