Symptoms

Smart View does not connect to the HFM Office Provider. The following error message is displayed:

Empty response from provider.

When you enter the Smart View URL into a web browser, e.g. http://localhost/hfmofficeprovider/hfmofficeprovider.aspx a blank web page is shown.

Installed Patch Set Update (PSU) 11.1.2.1.102 for Hyperion Financial Management on a patched 11.1.2.1.0 environment.
