Unable to Start HPSu Super Service "Invalid class path Brio/Brio8/comutil1_01.jar" (Doc ID 1374174.1)

Symptoms

Unable to start Hyperion Performance Suite Super Service, version 8.3.2.4.00:

(1) No logs were getting generated when using the control panel to start the service

(2) When trying to start the service via startCommonServices.bat the following error was recorded ;

Invalid class path Brio/Brio8/comutil1_01.jar
Invalid class path Brio/Brio8/XercesImpl.jar
Invalid class path Brio/Brio8/XmlParserAPIs.jar

NoClassDefFoundError : com/sqribe/comutil/util



Changes

Windows patches had been applied, a network code upgrade performed, and then server was rebooted.
