Planning Web Form Cannot be Saved If More Than 28 Japanese Characters are Typed in a Cell. (Doc ID 1379136.1)

Symptoms

If 28 Japanese characters are typed in a cell of a web form, saving the web form will succeed.  On the other hand, 29 characters or more will fail with the following error message:

The cell input you entered is too long. Please limit the contents to 255 characters.
