Symptoms
External User Directory is configured in Hyperion Shared Services Console with "DNS Lookup" option.
When a Domain Controller fails or is decommissioned from the network, none of the domain users can login to Workspace or Shared Services. The error message is:
"Invalid Credentials".
When viewing users belonging to the External directory in Shared Services the following error occurs:
"unknown host".
