Goal

Windows Native Authentication with Weblogic is generic Weblogic functionality rather than specific to Oracle Business Intelligence.

<Document 1274953.1> is a technical note designed to bridge the gap between generic Weblogic Windows Authentication and what is needed to perform Windows Authentication for OBIEE. If you have issues arising from the generic set up, you should raise a service request against Weblogic. If you can perform Windows Authentication against a J2EE app running in Weblogic, but you cannot get one of the OBIEE J2EE apps to work with this, then you should raise a service request against OBIEE.

A simple test web app is attached to this note and is designed to help check this configuration on the Admin Server in Weblogic.

This web app is not part of the supported product, but it is very useful. It is also not specific to OBI (i.e. - other Fusion Middleware products that enable WNA may find it useful)

If you cannot get access to the page protected by Kerberos in this web app, OBI will not work.
