A Microsoft Excel file in the newer Excel 2007/2010 format with an .xlsx extension is uploaded to the EPM Workspace. It is visible in the Workspace with the correct .xlsx extension.
When this file is downloaded in Internet Explorer, the save file dialogue window is displayed, showing that the file's extension has been renamed to .xls. The downloaded file has indeed been renamed with an .xls extension, which is incorrect. Trying to open this file in Excel leads to a warning message, since the extension denotes a file in the older Excel 1997/2003 format but this file is actually in the newer Excel 2007/2010 format.
