Symptoms
Financial Reporting reports fails to run when selecting the dimension from the POV box of the select window. If the member is typed directly in the POV box, the report runs fine.
Datasource is Essbase block storage. Issue happens for large dimension with many shared members.
Error connecting to database connection XYZ: Error: Internal Essbase JAPI error: [Cannot open member selection. Essbase Error(1290002): Network Error [10061]: Unable To Connect To [<ip:port>]. The client timed out waiting to connect to the Essbase Server using TCP/IP. Make sure that the client machine has sufficient number of ports available.]
