Rulesets Containing Rules from Different Planning Apps Cannot be Migrated via LCM (Doc ID 1392810.1)

Last updated on JULY 28, 2016

Applies to:

Hyperion Planning - Version 11.1.2.1.000 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

It is not possible to import a ruleset via Lifecycle Management (LCM) when the ruleset contains rules from different Planning applications.

When importing Calc Manager rules and rulesets from the filesystem, the migration shows a status of completed, but if you review the imported rulesets you will see that any rulesets containing rules from different planning apps have not been imported. The CalcManager.log contains the following error:

[2011-10-18T18:58:46.881+01:00] [CalcMgr0] [WARNING] [EPMCAL-00077] [oracle.bi.bifndnepm.calcmgr.common.GenericLogger] [tid: 18] [userId: <anonymous>] [ecid: 0000JCOBqkL6QPMpUKXBic1EbQej000035,0:5:1] [SRC_CLASS:
