Unable to Set Transaction Time While Creating As-Of Version in 24-Hour Locales (Doc ID 1401091.1)

Last updated on JULY 28, 2016

Applies to:

Hyperion Data Relationship Management - Version: 11.1.2.0.00 and later   [Release: 11.1 and later ]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When the client machine's Regional Setting is set to a locale with 24-hour clock, for example Germany or France, you can only enter a time in the morning.

The dialog for Create As-Of Version displays the time in the form 06:39, without AM or PM. When you type numbers to enter the time, a validation routine prevents your entering a number greater than 12 in the hours position. For example, if you overwrite the 06 in the example with 18, it is reset to 12. However, you are not permitted to enter PM after the number.

English (UK), which is also 24 hour, appears to be an exception as DRM uses a 12-hour time format anyway.

The problem does not affect Firefox: only Internet Explorer.
