Purpose

Note that configuration information of EPM 11.1.1.3 is stored in may different files.  Subsequent to the release of this version the storage of configuration settings rapidly shifts across to Hyperion Registry. Skim through the many sources of information listed in this article, with the intent of increasing logging levels to catch diagnostically significant configuration variants. As much as possible, narrow such investigations to the configuration values of servers or servlets most likely to be at the root of a problem. Compare those against messages in the log files. With EPM 11.1.1.3 most of the logging is generated via the Log4J tool.
