How do you configure the ReadOnlySQLAuthenticator not to use PlainTextPasswords? (Doc ID 1459438.1)

Goal

We have followed the following article:-

1338007.1 - How To Configure OBIEE 11g To Authenticate Using a Database Identity Store (SQL Authenticator)

Having setup the ReadOnlySQLAuthenticator within /console, authentication works using plain text passwords. However, we would like to un-check the 'PlainTextPasswords Enabled' and hash the passwords in the database using SHA-1.

Can you confirm what the ReadOnlySQLAuthenticator will use to try and match the hashed passwords to confirm authentication? Is hashing the passwords with SHA-1 enough?
