In OBIEE 184.108.40.206.0, you have a table with a column set as master detail in order to drill from its values in other views. You add a pivot table with the column in question in the Pivot Table Prompt section. In the pivot view properties, check the option "Listen to Master-Detail Events" and set Event Channels to the same channel as the table view. Similarly you add a chart. When you select a value of the master detail column in the table, all the other views change accordingly:
Create a second table view. This includes the master detail column as before. Create a new dashboard containing the above pivot and chart views plus the new table view. If you select a value of the column in this table, the chart changes accordingly, but the pivot view does not:
This works properly in 220.127.116.11.0 and 18.104.22.168.0 BP2.
