Discoverer Plus 11g Sessions Losing Connection To Server Often - "...HTTP request failed...Connection reset..."

Users are being disconnected from the Discoverer server frequently. Seems that only small worksheets can be run to completion.
The Java console has error:
SEVERE: DiscoServerException Error unmarshaling return header; nested exception is:
java.io.IOException: HTTP request failed: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset -
Nested exception: oracle.discoverer.corba.DCCORBAException: IDL:DCCORBAException:1.0
The OHS log contains many errors :
[OHS] [ERROR:32]... unusably short session_id provided (0 bytes)
[OHS] [ERROR:32]... nzos handshake error, nzos_Handshake returned 29039(server <server_name>:<port>, client <ip_address>)
[OHS] [ERROR:32]... NZ Library Error: SSL negotiation error [Hint: too restrictive SSLCipherSuite]
