Symptoms

You have installed OBIEE 11g.
Your users cannot log in.
In sawlog.log, you see the following error:

You also found a number of socket communication errors:

Message [nQSError: 12002] Socket communication error at call=recv: (Number=104) Connection reset by peer
Message [nQSError: 12002] Socket communication error at call=send: (Number=32) Broken pipe
Message [nQSError: 12002] Socket communication error at call=send: (Number=9) Bad file descriptor
