Goal
How to decide which Type 2 dimension to set up in HR Analytics 7.9.6.3
In the BI Apps configuration guide, section 7.3.1.2 Resolving Dimensions for Snapshot Date, it states to set the parameters in the DAC for the task PLP_WorkforceEventFact_Month for any of the listed dimensions that are Type 2. The following list shows the parameters defined in the task PLP_WorkforceEventFact_Month in DAC. These parameters have a default value of N. Set these parameters to Y only for dimensions that require WIDs to be resolved as of the snapshot date.
■ $$EMPLOYEE_TYPE2_FLG
■ $$ORGANIZATION_TYPE2_FLG
■ $$JOB_TYPE2_FLG
■ $$HR_POSITION_TYPE2_FLG
■ $$LOCATION_TYPE2_FLG
So which dimensions are Type 2? Which parameter flags need to be changed to Y?
