Cannot Open OBiee RPD in Client Administration Tool (Doc ID 1473861.1)

OBIEE version

When attempting to open a RPD using Oracle Business Intelligence Developer Client Tools ( for Microsoft Windows x86 (32/64-bit) the following error occurs.


nQSError: 36010 Client Tool version 318 cannot open - OracleBIapps_BI0002.rpd at version 320

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. BI Server at version (Repository version 320)
2. Download client tool ( for Microsoft Windows x86 (32/64-bit) from OTN
3. Configure ODBC DSN setup per Integrator's Guide
 ---> Section 8.4 Configuring an ODBC DSN for the Oracle BI Server on Windows
4. Test connection
5. Connect to RPD
