After installing Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) service patches, unable to start workspace services

In the configtool.log the following error is seen:

WARNING: I/O exception while parsing /usr/local/hyp/epm_home/EPMSystem11R1/common/raframeworkrt/ manifest:
java.util.zip.ZipException: invalid END header (bad central directory offset)
at java.util.zip.ZipFile.open(Native Method)
