EPM Usage Tracking Dooes Not Populate Object Name, Object Path, Object Type, Object Version For Certain Events (Doc ID 1487079.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

The Enterprise Performanace Management (EPM) Usage Tracking (UT) does not record certain events which is related to activity on a BQY document or job object. 

The UT repository tables include:

- Object Name
- Object Path
- Object Type
- Object Version 

 

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Wherever applicable, Object Name, Object Path, Object Version, Object Type information should be recorded in the UT repository tables.



STEPS

If encountering this issue, the steps can be reproduced via:

1. Enable events related to BQY document or job, for examble:

    a. Open BQY document,
    b. Close BQY Document,
    c. View Job output

2. Run the Sample Usage Tracking BQY to view UT data and observe that above mention column values are empty.
