Intermittent Environment Issues,OBIEE Server Inaccessible In OBIEE 11g (Doc ID 1491358.1)

You are finding that you are getting 20-25 nqsserver log files generated per day. You believe that the BI Server is restarting periodically which occurs at the same time that the log file is generated. At this time the users are not able to login however if they wait 10-15 minutes they then can login fine.

Clarifying two issues, which are likely related:

1.  Automatic restarts of NQserver

This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.
ORA-24550: signal received: Unhandled exception: Code=c0000005 Flags=0

2. Services are up, but login doesn't happen

[2012-06-19T12:48:19.000+00:00] [OracleBIClusterControllerComponent] [ERROR:1] [] [] [ecid: ] [tid: 183c] [71069] The connection with Oracle BI Scheduler [servername]:9705 (monitor port 9708) was lost.

In summary, the BI Server is crashing intermittently, however, the services are re-starting automatically and it is not obvious there is a NQServer crash occurring.
