NumDescendantsWith, HasChildWith, HasSiblingWith and NumChildWith Functions Return Incorrect Values (Doc ID 1493673.1)

Last updated on MARCH 08, 2017

Applies to:

Hyperion Data Relationship Management - Version 11.1.2.2.000 to 11.1.2.2.300 [Release 11.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

1.  HasChildWith and HasSiblingWith functions return incorrect value

Example:

HasChildWith(PropValue(Custom.BooleanL1))
The property should return True for a node when any of its child nodes has a True value for Custom.BooleanL1. However, the property only returns True if the first child in the child list has a True value regardless of the value for the other children.

2. NumDescendantsWith and NumChildWith functions return zero or incorrect count.

Unless the referenced property is True for the first child of each parent, no other 'Trues' for that node are counted.
