Symptoms

Upgraded Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) 11.1.1.3 to 11.1.1.6, (or 11.1.1.7.+) and ran the consistency check in the OBIEE  Admin Tool.

After completing these steps, the RPD was migrated to an Oracle Exalytics server and now certain dashboards are failing with error:

Error Codes: OPR4ONWY:U9IM8TAC:OI2DL65P:OI2DL65P
State: HY000. Code: 10058. [NQODBC] [SQL_STATE: HY000] [nQSError: 10058] A general error has occurred. [nQSError: 43113] Message returned from OBIS. [nQSError: 15002] Missing navigation space for subject area Core. (HY000)
SQL Issued: {call NQSGetQueryColumnInfo('SELECT VALUEOF("LAST_ETL_DATETIME") FROM "Project - Revenue"')}

SQL Issued: SELECT VALUEOF("LAST_ETL_DATETIME") FROM "Project - Revenue"

When the RPD is opened in the Admin tool again, the logical column ("LAST_ETL_DATETIME") is missing from the logical table ("Project - Revenue"') in the Core subject area.

If the consistency check is run again, another column seems to lose its source in the RPD file.  Once the source is removed, all dashboards and analyses that use this table/column encounter errors like those listed above.

This problem occurred in an Oracle Exalytics server environment, but can occur in any upgraded OBIEE 11.1.1.6 or 11.1.1.7 environment.
