Remote Diagnostic Agent (RDA) is a useful instrumentation utility developed by Oracle and scripted to collect troubleshooting information on more than 160 Oracle applications. RDA is bundled with Enterprise Performance Management 11.1.2.0 and later. As the tool typically is updated every quarter, the default RDA install is typically out of date and will need to be replaced with the current version (which is at least 8.00).

Purpose

Encourage users to collect Web Analysis related information using RDA by collecting service logs, servlet logs, configuration files, Hyperion Registry data, Microsoft Windows Event logs, and Microsoft Windows Registry focused on Web Analysis.
