Remote Diagnostic Agent is a useful instrumentation utility developed by Oracle and scripted to collect troubleshooting information on more than 160 Oracle applications. RDA is bundled with Enterprise Performance Management and later, but the bundled version is typically out of date (as the tool typically is updated every quarter). Therefore, each quarter confirm whether there is a more recent version of RDA...and download the later version if it is available. The version should at least be RDA 8.00.


Encourage users to collect a wide selection of Financial Reporting related information using RDA to collect service logs, servlet logs, configuration files, Hyperion Registry data, Microsoft Windows Event logs, and Microsoft Windows Registry entries focused on Financial Reporting. Some Financial Reporting related files are classified under Foundation and RaFramework headings.
