Symptoms

In OBIA 7.9.6.4 - DAC 11g, update config.sh as follows:

export JAVA_HOME=/ybs/u001/sw/dba/oracle/DEVELOPMENT/product/jdk1.6.0_37
export BI_ORACLE_HOME=/ybs/u001/sw/dba/oracle/DEVELOPMENT/product
export DOMAIN_HOME=/ybs/u001/sw/dba/oracle/DEVELOPMENT/product
export DAC_HOME=${DOMAIN_HOME}/dac_linux
export COMMON_COMPONENTS_HOME=${DAC_HOME}/lib/oracle_common

Test with the following command:

$JAVA -version
java version "1.6.0_37"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_37-b06)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.12-b01, mixed mode)

Run the standaloneServerSetupPromp.sh, the following message is displayed:

./standaloneServerSetupPrompt.sh

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/siebel/etl/gui/login/TextModeServerSetup
Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.siebel.etl.gui.login.TextModeServerSetup
at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(URLClassLoader.java:202)
at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method)
at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(URLClassLoader.java:190)
at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:306)
at sun.misc.Launcher$AppClassLoader.loadClass(Launcher.java:301)
at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:247)
Could not find the main class: com.siebel.etl.gui.login.TextModeServerSetup. Program will exit.
