OBIEE configured with external LDAP, Authentication Fails for OBIEE Anlytics after applying OBIEE Patches 18.104.22.168.6, 22.214.171.124.7 or 126.96.36.199.8.
Weblogic user can connect to EM and console but gets following error with the weblogic user with OBIEE analytics:
Unable to Sign In
An invalid User Name or Password was entered.
When using LDAP user:
An error occurred during authentication.Try again later or contact your system administrator
- The users and their passwords are valid. - the user ID and password is valid. Even if you create a new user in console, you are unable to log in with that user.
- All Web Logic Server components were started up properly: as shown in the logs, all the components are started properly without any issues.
- The RDBMS database where the repository for the Oracle Fusion Middleware resides, is up and running. You are able to connect to the database using SQL Plus.
- The RDBMS schema passwords created using the Repository Creation Utility (RCU) are not expired. you are able to connect to the database using SQL Plus and query the BIPLATFORM schema.
You see the following error in Bifoundation_domain.log:
oracle.bi.security.service.SecurityServiceException: SecurityService::authenticateUserWithLanguage [OBI-SEC-00020] Authenticated user has an invalid GUID
You see the following error in the bi_server1-diagnostic.log:

Caused by: oracle.bi.security.service.SecurityServiceException: SecurityService::authenticateUserWithLanguage [OBI-SEC-00020] Authenticated user has an invalid GUID

After applying OBIEE patches 188.8.131.52.6, 184.108.40.206.7 or 220.127.116.11.8 on top of OBIEE 18.104.22.168.5.
