Symptoms
When exporting Financial Reporting report Microsoft Excel, a quote mark is being added to values with decimals. This is resulting in values being treated as text.
A scenario where the problem is seen:
- Run the FR report in HTML preview
- Export it from File > Export > Excel
- In resulted Excel sheet, click on negative number or a number with decimal places
- An additional quote in Excel can be seen e.g. the data in cell begins with a single quote " ' "
(Excel cell data beginning with a single quote are considered text and not numeric values)
Note : Values that do not have a decimal set, do not encounter this problem.
