Goal
Your users have created a very large and detailed report, that requires a huge quantity of memory assigned to the Oracle's processes, especially in regards to memory consumption in the rendering process in OBIEE.
The maximum numbers of this report are as follows:
- SQL query: 76.316 registers latency of query 18 minutes
- Size of XML generated: 75 Mb
- Size of PDF: 3000 pages
The Oracle processes heap on production system is:
- WebLogic: 2GB
- OPMN: 1GB
In order to render the report on development system, the size of OPMN was:
- WebLogic 2GB
- OPMN: 8GB
How can the system be tuned, to make such huge reports work properly?
