Retrieving Row Counts in OBIEE 11g Admin Tool Fails with Connection Error: "[nQSError: 17010] SQL statement preparation failed...ORA-00942: table or view does not exist" (Doc ID 1539270.1)

Symptoms

Successfully used Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) 11g Admin Tool to import a table and update row counts.  When attempting to update row counts another time, it fails with error:

The connection has failed

The NQServer log shows additional errors:
